Privacy Policy — Axe Arcade

Last updated: July 30, 2026

Little Forge Studio ("we") develops Axe Arcade ("the app") for Meta Horizon / Meta Quest headsets. This policy explains exactly what data the app collects, how that data is used and processed, how long it is kept, and how you can ask us to delete it.

What data we collect

The app uses the Meta Platform SDK. When you use the features listed below, the app collects and processes the following data about you:

DataWhy the app collects itWhen
Meta User ID — the account identifier Meta assigns to you To identify which leaderboard entry and which achievement progress belong to you, and to verify that you own a licensed copy of the app. At app start, and each time a scored round finishes.
Meta User Profile — your public Meta (Horizon) display name.
The Meta "User profile" permission also grants access to your profile picture. Axe Arcade does not request, display, or store your profile picture — it reads your display name only.
To show your name next to your score in the leaderboard, and to show the names of other players in the ranking list you see. When the leaderboard is displayed, and when a score is submitted.
Your game score — your best score for a game mode To rank players on the leaderboard and to award achievements (first bullseye, high score, rounds completed, total throws). When a scored round finishes.

The app does not collect your real name, email address, location, contacts, payment details, voice, camera images, or room/space data. The app contains no advertising SDK and no third-party analytics.

How the data is processed and where it is stored

All three data types above are processed and stored by Meta Platforms, Inc. on the Meta Horizon platform, using Meta's Leaderboards, Achievements and Entitlements services, under Meta's privacy policy. We operate no servers of our own and we keep no copy of this data on any system we control.

The app reads this data back from Meta in order to display it to you — for example, the ranking list shows the Meta display names and scores of other players. We do not combine this data with any other source, do not sell or share it, and do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Retention. Leaderboard entries and achievement progress are retained by Meta for as long as the app is published and your entry has not been deleted — or until you ask us to delete it (see below), or delete it yourself through your Meta account.

Stored on your headset only

Your personal best score and your settings are also saved locally on your own device so the app can show them offline. This local copy never leaves your headset, and uninstalling the app removes it.

How to request deletion of your data

You can ask us to delete the data the app has collected about you, at any time and free of charge.

Email littleforgestudioxgame@gmail.com with the subject line "Data deletion request", and include the Meta display name (Oculus username) you use in the app so that we can locate your entry.

You can also remove this data yourself at any time through your Meta account settings, and uninstalling the app removes the locally stored score from your headset.

Children's privacy

Axe Arcade is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app and provided data, contact us at the address above and we will delete it.
